Arizona has 2 Zoo's
Visit the beautiful Phoenix Zoo, home to over 1,000 animals. Centrally located in the Phoenix metro area, the Phoenix Zoo offers an exciting array of animal exhibits, unique special events, educational programs and outdoor recreational activities for people of all ages. Our spectacular surroundings make it an ideal setting for professional meetings, memorable dinner/receptions, weddings and more. The Phoenix Zoo is open everyday, rain or shine, except December 25.

Hours Of Operation:
The Phoenix Zoo is open every day, rain or shine (excluding December 25).
CURRENT HOURS - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Regular season hours - 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. - September 7 through November 9, and January 10 through May 31
- Summer season hours - 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. weekdays, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekends.- June 1 through September

- ZooLights Season - 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - November 12, 2005 through January 8, 2006
- In order to accommodate ZooLights, the Phoenix Zoo will close one hour earlier in the afternoon. From November 12, 2005 to January 8, 2006, our regular daytime hours of admission will be from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Evening Hours for ZooLights
- ZooLights! Opens November 24, 2005 - January 8, 2006, from 6:00 - 10:00 pm
(Closed December 25)
Admission prices
Regular Season (September 1 through May 31): Adults $14, Seniors $9, Children (ages 3-12) $6. Children two and under are admitted free.

Zoo Hours
Open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Zoo is closed December 25th, and closes early (at 1 pm) on Thanksgiving Day.
Parking
There is ample free parking near the zoo entrance.
Directions
The Zoo is located off of Randolph Way, just north of 22nd Street. Randolph Way is the first street west of Alvernon.
Admission Fees
- $5.00 adults ages 15-61
- $4.00 seniors ages 62 and over
- $2.00 children ages 2-14
- FREE for children under 2 years
- Reserved school groups $0.50 per child
- FREE for members.
